Thank you Rox and Karen for hosting these challenges! It sure helps all of us create more cards and have fun! Bless you both!
I love the idea of a kickstand card! I hope to do more of them! I combined Saturday's Inspiration Challenge with today's Sketch Challenge. I picked up a lot of ideas from the IC, like the desk, which I colored the same, or tried to, and I colored the angels' dress like the tulips in the photo.
I colored the images with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. Overtop of this I lightly painted with Twinkling H2O's to deepen the shadows.
The bg paper was a slate grey that I stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink.
For the chalkboard, I colored it with two shades of grey Prisma's and then stamped the word Believe in Whisper White, then heat embossed with white ep. I went over it later with one of the grey Prisma's to outline the letters and make it look popped out somewhat.
The teacher angel is popped up on pop dots. I added Glitter Glue to her wings. White gel pen for some highlights.
Inge Groot, aka **Inge** gave me the flowers...thank you my friend from across the Pond!!
This card is for one of my best lifelong friends who is a teacher. LOVE YOU RONDA!!!

This is just too adorable. The scene you created is awesome and the chalkboard looking background is so perfect. As a teacher myself, I'd frame this to hang my classroom.
