This challenge was to use velvet of any kind. I found some wide velvet ribbon in my stash, the kind you'd wrap a Christmas gift with. First, I tried to punch flowers out of it. NO WAY! The punch wouldn't hardly go through that stuff! I decided to stamp on it; it's plenty wide enough for a small stamp. I stamped the rose from Wing It with Black Craft and then cut it out. At first, I had three roses, but that was too much for the scallop circle I chose (I cricut my circles ahead of time and keep them in a baggie). I used the leaves from Wild Rose. I trimmed some more ribbon to about 5/16 in., attached the shaped clip and 'Thank You' charm. There ya go! I love the texture of the roses on this! Thanks so much for taking a peek!!!

I'm glad you went thru that little trial and error, these velvet flowers are gorgeous! A bit more work, but well worth it! That white cb'd bg is just perfect for this beautiful design and your charms are..well...CHARMING! I love it!

Super job here Carroll. I sat this one out because I only had some black velvet and didn't want to use it. But you are so creative with your red velvet and I know I have a tone of it too. Thanks for the great cuggestion. Those are an awesome roses.
