This all started very early this morning, probably shortly after midnight, as I was rummaging through my DH's, who is an electrician, desk drawer. I mentioned in a comment earlier on Mothermark's card that the first thing I saw was a red wire nut. After describing this card in a pm to my partner in crime, which must have been Gertie, I was triple dog dared to make the original card that came to mind. As you all know, that is pretty hard to back down from so please keep in mind, I wouldn't have done this without encouragement. I hope this does not offend anyone in anyway, it is not intended that way. Just a little humor for today. Since Mr. Mothermark thought Cindy should have used a wire nut this morning on her card, this card is going to Colorado real soon addressed to him who is also an electrician.
I used black electrician's tape for his hat with small washers to symbolize eyelets. The place where his 3rd button popped out is a wire nut and ofcourse 2 nuts to go along with that. The sentiment is mounted on a tie wrap that I colored red, which in the day of an electrician is used to strap things down. I recycled another Christmas card that I received last year. This is one Christmas card that is going out really early this year.
