Because the rose is dimensional, the scan doesn't show off the card very well. This was the only big project that I planned for my workshops in March. The rose is sculpted out of paper. Directions can be found in the galleery of a very talented artist named Happy Heart. Her sculpted roses are "to die for"! The flannel background was stamped in Old Olive Classic ink, then overstamped with Very Vanilla Craft ink using the Linen BG stamp. I brushed Gold PearlEx over this to give this layer a vdery gentle sheen. I used this same technique with the Paisley layer using Cranberry Crisp ink, followed by Vanilla Craft and gold PearlEx.

Ink: Old Olive, Cranberry Crisp, Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgandy, Bravo Craft ink ( for the words), Rose Red ( for sponging around edges of each of the three layers of the sculpted rose)

This is exquisite, Carole! Aside from the gorgeous sculpted rose and the Pearl Ex sheen, you used this stitched ribbon and made it look so much more feminine than I ever saw it before. Beautiful!
