Fortune cookie is just a circle of card stock, stamped, moistened, shaped, and left to dry. Sentiment is rolled up inside cookie box and is pulled out with the tag end.
It's an oldie of mine, but still one of my favorites. Just wanted to start posting on here, instead of just "lurking," and thought this would be a decent start... TFL!

This is so great. I have been looking for a "recipe" for fortune cookies to do with my girl scout troop. These couldn't taste any worse than the ones I've already made...just joking...kinda. Anyways, this will be great to make and give to them as a gift after they make the "real" ones out of sugar cookie dough. Thanks for posting.

This is so cute! I just might have to get the SU take out boxes and do some of these. Thanks for the inspiration!

i love this! my daughters and i decided to make fortune cookies for their valentines and i was so glad to find this in the gallery--especially your tip to moisten the paper! here's a link to our valentine version, a little more simple due to little time and little hands! i'll have to play with it on my own soon!
