Lisa is this week's hostess for the Wide Open Range MMTPT challenge - we're sending our cards to Lori's sister-in-law in AZ.
I do have one digi of horses running wild which would have been perfect - but not being much of a digi user, I opted for some lovely pottery with a south-western feel. I even found a gel print in my box with suitable colours (and some nice metallics, though they don't show up well in the photo).
Stamped my image in Coffee, coloured with Inktense pencils. Added Liquid Pearls to the bare branch.
Found the gel print and then considered where to go next. To add a layer under the pottery, I cut a piece of black card and die-cut it with the TH dies which were out on my desk. I also embossed it and added metallic crayon to the relief.
It looked a bit stark just stuck on a plain white base, so I sponged it with antique linen and dotted it with a Sharpie.
Oh, and the pottery panel is edged with one of those chunky Stickles.
