Shaving cream backgrounds (again). Playing around with different looks for the same image and same basic card. I was going tape the oval down, but after I started playing with it, I decided to make the card open once to see behind the oval, and then once to read inside the card. I used the aquapainter with my craft inks to color some of the picture and aquapainter with pastels to color some of it. The white sails and top part of the lighthouse are paper piecing. I used Black and Brown EP for the rocks and the anchor.

Beverly, what a great card! I have salt water in my veins having always lived on the Texas gulf coast. Everything just ties together so well.
