After much thinking, I decided to make a get well card. This was fun to try, there are definitely some things I would change next time.
The card front is basically a single layer except for the word bubble. I stamped the nurse and "ambulance" masking part of the truck when stamping and then masking both the truck and the nurse. I saw an altered ambulance tasty truck on Pinterest somewhere, I wish I could say it my idea! I stamped the ground stamp from Sheltering Tree to provide road for the ambulance. I sponged the sky using a scalloped circle. I hand drew the red cross and light on my ambulance and then colored the nurse and ambulance with Prismacolor pencils. That was the easy part!
For the inside, I had to modify the opening to fit the poor guy on the exam table as well as his wife. I don't have any indoor scenery stamps so I sponged a So Saffron wall color with Sahara Sand on the floor. One of the things I'd do differently is to not use the brick ef because now, to me, it looks like they are inside a big fireplace! The sentiment says "Sending a little laughter...it's the BEST medicine! Hope you'll soon be fully re-covered!"
A fun card to make, thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!
