It's been a while since I've posted a card once again, but I was able to make a really "easy peasy" one. This new digital stamp set is gorgeous, but I've used just a small image of it along with a sentiment from a clear set. Given my big time constraints, I had to make it easy to make and to color...as you can see. I colored it, added some sequins, matted it in Smokey Slate, and mounted it on a Pirouette Pink card base.
Well, it still needed a little something. So...it's time to share another adventure I had making this card. I decided to add some Wink of Stella. Oh, I love the shimmer it gives. Well, suddenly my "Stella" (bad girl that she was) started leaving "blops" below one of the blossoms. Hmmm...well, I had to really get creative, so I said, "okay, girl, if that's how you want to play...." So I took my fingers and started flicking adding some splatter and "played along with her!" Hehe! And of course, now the card has some really pretty glimmer and splatter that is so popular (yes, I am always the last one on the band wagon with techniques). Voila...and a fun experience in the end!
So, my wonderful friends, thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week! You are so special to me, and I miss you all a lot. Still dealing with health issues and continue to have hope for a diagnosis.

I am blown away by this gorgeous card Cheryl! I love reading this was an easy peasy card to make, but it sure looks quite involved to someone like me. I giggled and giggled about how you show Ms. WOS who the boss was by rolling with her when she was acting up. This technique is brilliant and really adds some gorgeous shimmer and texture to an already amazing card. I wish you all the best my friend - you are in my prayers! Hugs! ~Karen.

HI CHERYL, it's GRASSHOPPER!!!! I've been away for awhile and it looks like you have had some gaps too. I hope you are doing well. I see you are waiting for a diagnosis, so I know you have some medical issues to deal with. My prayers are honestly with you. I LOVE your card. I thought that was a fabulous idea with the wink of stella. I'm with you, I'm always the last to try new techniques and usually don't. Good to go outside the box sometimes, right? BTW, now that I've blabbed on...your card is so beautiful. The flowers are colored with perfection and love the sequins. The sentiment is perfect as "I have been thinking about you"!

Cheryl this is gorgeous as always! I love how you used the bad behavior of your Wink of Stella pen to dive into a new technique. I swear sometimes that our art supplies have a mind of their own. I have to say that your idea of "easy peasy" is a little scary lol!!!
Sending you love & healthy vibes and wishes for a speedy recovery :0)
Hugs

This is simply gorgeous, Cheryl, and I LOVE the back story of Stella's misbehavior!! Glad it turned out to have a happy ending! I LOVE to splatter my cards but have never splattered with Stella, so I am going to give it a try! I have missed you in the gallery and hope that you will (or have already ) be turning a corner in the health department. Sending healing wishes and prayers!
