Trying our challenge for Ways to Use it (WT539): grids or tiles. A while back I saw this technique for a faux tile look here and loved the look so I thought I would try it today. Using my scor-pal I scored the lines in both directions. Then used 3 colors to sponge ink in each section: peach, poppy and mustard seed. I masked with 2 post-its for each section to make sure my sponging stayed in the right section. I think the rest is pretty straightforward.

Wow, wow, wow! Love the background and your faux tile look. Your color choices for the sponging are wonderful. Into my favorites so I can remember this technique!
