I sketched my pumpkin patch with pencil and then watercolored it. The "strips" for the HYCCT challenge were glued to computer paper. When that was done, gesso and some color washes were applied over the whole panel to tone it down and give it added color. My photo doesn't show this very well...what else is new??? : ) Mr. Huey's sprays were used after my watercolor was mounted on the strip frame.

WOW Sallie! The shading on this is phenomenal with watercolors! The highlights, everything about it is jaw dropping gorgeous! This is truly a work of art. If I could paint like this every single piece would be framed!
