The CAS challenge to-day was to honour Harriet (hskelly) and my oh my..what a wonderful gallery she has! I chose this little gem CC449 Happy Holidays by hskelly at Splitcoaststampers to case. The technique challenge was to use a stencil made from a die-cut. I chose flowers and branches from spellbinders. The bird die is from Elizabeth Craft designs sponged with some calypso coral and topped with a black overlay. Both of these dies, I am sad to say, haven't been used in a very long time. sigh*..just had to have them!! LOL Also something that hasn't seen the light of day for quite a while is this embossing folder from Cuttlebug. Had to have that one too!..double sigh** Enjoy basking in the limelight Harriet it is an honour well deserved.

I love that combination of bird die cut and plum branch stencilling! The coral colour really pulls them together. That is a lovely EF frame and it looks wonderful with your other elements. I have such a hard time with that kind of EF that I have really avoided buying them! Great card and great case!

Love your branch and flowers - great use of the die to make the stencil! And I love that embossing folder. Don't worry - you're not alone - I have bought lots of things that I rarely use!
