Thank you Michelle for such a great challenge, I had so much fun making this card.
I made a huge 'happy' mess making the background. Spritzed Dylusions ink spray and water on a sheet of al foil*, swished the cardstock through it. There was still a lot of liquid to mop up, so I slapped a bit of gesso on the foil (because I can't find my molding paste) then stenciled a bit of a brick wall and leaves.
I used a gold cord for her headpiece, tied knots each side then unravelled the threads.
*I use kitchen aluminium foil instead of a craft mat, cheap as chips and I chuck it out when finished. Thank you for looking.

Cute, cute, and more cute. I love the gold thread in her hair. Your dylusions bkgs are always so fantastic...it's a medium I haven't mastered yet. Great colors that you created and your girl image is just aforable. Such a fun card.

It sure does sound like a happy mess, but a gorgeous product! I'll have to remember that aluminum foil trick, because I sure hate cleaning up that mess! Thanks for swinging in the hammock with me this week!
