I tried the EB Folder Inking Technique. Sponge ink on the top of your folder and then spritz with water. Then place your CS over the wet puddles of ink and then remove your CS and you get a cool watercolored effect. I did mask my CS, but you would not have too. Just keeping mine more CAS.
I stamped my flowers because I do not have a poppy die. I then stamped the DSP and fussy cut the flowers to add dimension. There are 2 layers on each flower for more dimension.
The XOXO die cut sentiment has 4 layers for dimension.

Now that is a very interesting sounding technique, and it turned out so pretty! Love that you brought out this older set to use. I have so many retired SU! sets that I still love. Your colors are pretty on this.

Nancy, Nancy, Nancy--what a wonderful card. I love the watercolor look of your dotted background. This is a technique I will definitely have to try. I especially like your choice of colors--not only are they pretty but they are also "non-traditional" colors for poppies, which tickles me. You broaden my stamping horizons.
