hi there,
Today we are being inspired by the children's section at Marks and Spencer and this bathing suit was my starting point; loved the colours: http://www.marksandspencer.com/colou...nt/p/p22267880
I tried to mimic the feel of the panels of the bathing suit on my bkg by using a stencil and some Goosebumps. For those of you that don't know about Goosebumps- I didn't- it is sort of like a gummy glue that you apply with a sponge type dabber lid and when dry it acts as a resist and gives you a textured surface. When dry, I went over the stencil with Distress ink to add the colour.
The flower panel was a piece of cardstock that I coloured with Distress inks and water then stamped the scene on top of the inked piece. I then went back in and coloured the flowers with a white Signo pen and added the sentiment.
thanks for looking,

Awesome Karen. I bought the goosebumps stuff a while back, but forgot how I was supposed to use it. Love your effect so I must dig mine out and give it a go! Tfs.
