So fun to host the CC451 Challenge this week. I chose colors that I thought would be great for the Holiday Season. I thought I would play with the colors on my new Swallowtail Card...gosh, I liked the results so much I ended up using for my challenge card.
I sponged my colors directly on the stamp using sponge daubers. Then stamped onto W White CS and cut out with my Papersnips.
Then the fun really began...I stamped the Swallowtail image with Versamark and Heat EB with Clear EB Powder. Wow...what gorgeous shine and brought out all the colors beautifully.
I just added dimensionals in the middle and liquid glue to the edges to give the image a popped up look.
My card is 5" X 6" because of the large swallowtail image. I will make a custom envelope later using my SU Envelope Punch Board.
Enjoy and please join our CC451 Challenge.

I wish we were seeing this IRL, Nancy. The shine of the colors done with clear ep must be fabulous!! TFS!

I've never sponged directly onto the stamp, Nancy - but with your fabulous results I see trying this in my future. Sure is some fussy cutting, GF...spectacular work! thanks for the great color combination and inspiration.
