I pulled out a favourite ladybird stamp for today's Teaparty, but then when I read that Marian was a keen knitter, I knew I just had to let the hens out of the coop. I did add a couple of ladybirds .
Quick card, I've been sick the last couple of days.
A2 base, brown Bazzill embossed with a woodgrain ef and sponged with white.
Penny Black hens stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks and markers: tea dye, forest moss, vintage photo, mowed lawn, peacock feathers, walnut stain, pumice stone, mustard seed, picked raspberry, barn door.
Little ladybirds are from Garden Whimsy and were probably a mistake :-(.

I have got to have that stamp!!! What an adorable image for knitters. I was just thinking: one more comment and then I'm going to knit for a bit, when I saw your card. A couple of co-workers and I knit every other week on our lunch hour and share lunch as well. Your card is darling. Love the ladybugs and that sentiment too.
