A big birthday is coming up - Eula is turning 110! The teapotters will once again celebrate with her, this year by sharing a favorite birthday memory. One of my favorite birthdays was my 49th. I spent the day in the Grand Tetons. My birthday is in late May, and spring had clearly sprung in the high plains. Flowers were everywhere and songbirds could be seen flitting about. The sky became overcast and while riding the ferry across Jenny Lake, huge snowflakes began drifting down. By the time we docked it was snowing fairly heavily. To me and the other passengers it was sheer magic...the paths were snow covered, the air was filled with fluffy white precip and marmots squealed as we passed. For an east coast gal, this was a little bit of heaven, a memory that I will always treasure.
Just stamped the mountains from Scenery in white on Wisteria and heat embossed. Sponged the sky and mounted on a Mellow Moss card. Painted a stripe of glue and sprinkled various colors of Flower Soft over the glue. PC generated the sentiment, attached and done.

Such a beautiful scene like that is bound to make a powerful memory. (No mountains like that in Jersey!) Your wildflower field is gorgeous. THank you for sharing your special memory with Mrs. Cousins and making her birthday even more memorable.
