My first card was to be for Jessica until I read the e-mail from The Mudder and saw in Mutnik pictures of Jessica's Max, that he was a rust color. I am sure that there is a fancier name for that color of horse, but not being a horse person, I didn't know. I have heard of Sorrel or Chestnut horses - so maybe Max is one of those??????
The card for Jessica uses a retired SU! set named Equestrian Dream. I cut a circle in gold, embossed it and two Spellbinders die cuts to put behind the horse that I watercolored and then glazed. On the MS trellis punch at the bottom I put some leaves from Nestie, MS branch punches and a flower rubber stamp that I watercolored, it has absolutely no identifying mark. I know it is very old... Of course I had to apply stickles, dew drops and a flower on the envelope - VOILA!!

Wow, Phyllis, this is wonderful! I love the image and beautiful coloring. Your punched elements with all of that texture are simply fantastic. I love the fussy cutting and coloring of those gorgeous blooms too. Beautiful card.

What a great card and it is sure to make Jessica smile. You probably got double the amount of cookies at the tea party since you had a horse and flowers on your card.
