Anne Ryan was chosen by Trish to be our QFTD. Anne gave a year of making this a special challenge....honoring those who not only made wonderful cards, but took the time to particiapte in many challenges AND leave comments for fellow stampers. Anne was prime example #1! Her gallery is astounding...REALLY. Take a look HERE.
I chose to take THIS CARD of Anne's for my CASE. I changed her homespun themed card to a patriotic one. I made the sentiment prominent which was the challenge for F4A. I created a bg by off stamping so it wouldn't compete with the greeting.
Congratulations, Anne. A long-awaited honor. You SO deserve it!

Sallie, I applaud your vision. I would never have been able to see a patriotic image for that card. It's totally awesome w/the red bg and of course, that ribbon is over the top. Your card is just fabulous as are each of your creations. Thanks so much, Sallie, for taking time to case one of my cards.

Well, your patriotic theme carries over very well, considering that cherry (and apple pie) are both American "icons" on our picnic menus for the Fourth of July!! Love this simply wonderful and all American card!!

What a beautiful case of Anne's card. She's sure to love this one. I wish I had time to make more detailed comments, but time is a closin' in on me! TFS!

Every year at work we have a dessert contest and I usually make the ribbons for it. especially the striped boarder. I may use that design for this years ribbons.
