Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge and this week's Speedy's Friends Challenge to make holiday card.
I'm still awake tonight, and I have to assume that I'm hyped up on Diet Coke...I've had a 2Liter in less than 3 hours....That's a LOT of Diet Coke! LOL I've been cleaning...I seem to do this when I need to take my mind off other things...I couldn't focus to stamp for the sake of stamping, so when I saw this challenge I was ready.
Okay, this is not a difficult as I thought it would be. (Holly aka TOY on SCS developed this technique!) I stamped the SNEAK PEEK music image in Adirondack's Espresso. Next, I sponged the edges with Ginger. I pressed the panel into a VersaMark pad and embossed it in Clear. (Use REGULAR, NOT DETAIL Embossing Powder! It makes a BIG difference! TRUST ME...and the three RUINED PANELS in my trash can! LOL) Next, I pressed the panel into the VersaMark and embossed it again in Clear. (Wait for it to cool COMPLETELY! SERIOUSLY...LET IT SET UP!!!!) Then, after about 10 minutes, I stamped the sentiment and the treble clef in VersaMark and embossed it in black. (Do this QUICKLY! and STOP after the embossing powder sets.) The DARK images seem to "melt" into the background.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: 39 minutes
