At long last - a new card! I'd seen this great looking stamp used so many ways. Next time I'm going to emboss the stamp, which is mostly a negative image. Stamping the black memento area proved to be a challenge!!! This was my first try at trying the out of the box technique - and three of the sides of my image were out of the box. Boy - it was a lot more difficult than I expected! Note - the top poppy which looks cut off is actually like that with the stamped image. Anyway - I did make 3 of these cards - even though I nearly tore the hair out of my head with cutting with the nestie etc. Next time I'm embossing the black part of the image!!!!
Thanks so much for looking!

Just had to stop by and add my WOWZA's to that vibrant poppy creation. Three cards with this, eh?!! And some torn out hair?!! Well, with that thick mane, I'm sure you could stand to lose a few, but I hope it didn't hurt too much to yank them out and I hope you only pulled those pesky gray ones that like to sneak in after a "certain age" is reached!!!

OMGosh Cap'n Canada, this is so gorgeous begining with the image itself and the colors. I have a stamp very similar to this, but I just have no idea what to do with it. Simple and elegant and stunning is what your latest gallery addition is, Ms Cap'n Canada. I love it. it's a really really beautiful card.

Deb, this is gorgeous! I think I have this stamp (I think...and if it is, its a virgin!), and this is going into my faves! I love how you popped the flowers and the colors are wonderful!
