I used the faux silk technique on my sentiment panel. This is my first time with this technique--super easy and very cool outcome!.
The plaid panel is a scrap of fabric that I stitched down with my sewing machine. I watercolored my lily image with SU certainly celery ink. I made sure my lily was an EASTER LILY by giving it bright yellow fuzzy stamens with Sunshiny Yellow Fun Flock!!
I added a scored frame on my white card base and two rows of pearls as my embellishments. Done!
Thanks so much for taking a peek!

Emily, you are watercoloring beautifully and I love your PATP, too. You also have those special touches with the fabric. I need to try that technique...you did say it was easy, right? Love your beautiful card!

A truly beautiful Easter card Emily. So many details, yet so clean and crisp looking. LOVE that border framing, your faux silk technique and your yellow flocking on the inside of the flower. You did an AMAZING job!! TFS!

I so love that border punch! You are such a punch enabler Emily! You used more fabric on your card - I love it! And adding yellow flock to the stamens was so clever - SUCH a nice effect. A lovely card!

Such a pretty green for Easter, and I like that faux silk thing you did. I'll tell you, you are teaching me stuff! I never heard of it before (I feel like a lil ol' bumpkin over here!). I wish you lived closer so we could stamp together!

Guess what I did! I went out and used my M's cpn today and bought this PATP set today. So now I can happily punch my way to a gorgeous Easter card like this. If I ever get time...and I'm running out of it quickly. Off to our Thursday service at church. Catch you later.
