I needed to create a LightHouse card this morning for ODBD... and so came here to check today's challenge. WOW!!! This Echo site rocks. Thanks Stef for choosing it for today's Inspirational Challenge #IC216.
I looked through all the inspiring patterns and colors and designs on Echo, until I found this FUN pillow with its beaded sun-like motifs... This totally reminded me of a Light House and it's beaming lights!!! http://www.echodesign.com/Product/ja...=4951&crid=522

Oh my, I totally see where you're coming from with the lighthouse from that cushion. My problem is that I am very literal-minded when it comes to inspiration challenges - I've worked so hard on being loosely inspired and not just recreating. I can think laterally in other situations, but not easily in creating. And yet, when I see your lighthouse, well - a light goes on, and of course it's obvious where you were inspired. Dinky little charm, too.
I always like lighthouse cards - where I grew up, if I climbed the tree outside my window I could see three different lighthouses up the coast.
