This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Black Rose Artichoke. I did another treat purse for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Treat Purse and doodled around the white layered scallop circle for this weeks OUR CREATIVE CORNER CHALLENGE - Doodling. These little treat purses are quick, easy and so cute. I ran my artichoke cs through the CB swiss dots folder. Punched out a black giga scallop circle and a white mega scallop circle which can be found at Treehouse Stamp Co. My main image was stamped in black brilliance then I attempted something I found on here several weeks ago and am just getting around to. Frosting/Snow. I don't think it turned out quite as I expected but you mix equal amts of plain flour and salt then enough water to make a glue consistancy. Dry with the heating tool from the back then the front and it it suppose to bubble up. I obviously put too much on the icing part because man talk about top heavy, LOL. Anyway I am ok with how it turned out I guess. My image and sentiment are from a new set being released Friday from TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY. The inside of the front flap can be seen on my blog. I used the MS dripping border punch with rose red cs to simulate drippy icing. Hope you like it.
