I combined three challenges today... Today's technique - pleats, yesterdays featured stamper and today's house mouse challenge - paper piercing. http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/
House mouse image is a rak from my sister-in-law. Stamped on whisper white in stazon jet black and water coloured. I masked the image and sponged on the clouds. Clear embossed the mouses beak and eyes and the one birds eye. Matted with teal and more mustard, stitched around edges and then pierced the bottom corner. I made my pleats with SU more mustard dp, sewed on the ribbon - to make it look like curtains. main card is 5 x 5. I Ran the top portion of the teal bg through the bug with the swiss dot folder. Used my oval nestabilities for the sentiment panel. stamped sentiment in taken with teal. added the flower brad. Added the six white brads at the bottom.
The changes I made from casing Vicky Gould's adorable house mouse is.
Different House Mouse image (don't have the same one) - I Added the top pleated portion, moved my sentiment to the bottom middle and added three more white brads and my ribbon bow is at the top left not at the bottom left....
here is the card I cased. WT129, Love of a Lifetime_vg by Vicky Gould at Splitcoaststampers
