This card is for today's sketch challenge, as well as a double dare challenge I do with a group of friends each week. Anne, jdmommy, challenged us to make a card inspired by anything related to the Olympics this year. Since they are being hosted in China, I chose an Asian theme using this dog image for the Chinese astrology of the Year of the Dog, as well as the rich color of copper and the flourishy design. I made it masculine for a co-worker's birthday who happens to have been born in one of the years for the Year of the Dog.

OMG! The colors and metallics make this card just so elegant and rich looking. The copper and black lend to the beauty of the Flourish CB panel and the image of the dog. Beautiful! TFS!

I love this Charlene!! I'm kicking myself for not stocking up on that copper cardstock before it sold out. It is so rich and elegant and makes for such a beautiful card.

Love the dramatic feel to this one, Charlene! I like how you designed the triangles to be large too - it creates striking angles!
