for a weekly challenge among a small group of SCS friends, we were sent some beautiful supplies by frances (StampOwl). thanks so much, frances!
we were to use at least one side of a two-sided dp, at least one purple brad, a clear plastic flower, and the ribbon slide.
i slightly altered two of the items. the clear flower had white stripes which i colored with a gold sharpie. i then backed it with eggplant cs. the slide was pewter colored, and i colored it with a gold paint pen.
the layered flower consists of the clear plastic one, two primas (colored with markers to match the color scheme), and one punched from the embossed dp.
the image is stamped with eggplant pigment ink and embossed with clear ep. i then edged the panel with the antique linen distress ink, sponging a little on the butterfly itself.
the finished card measures 5 1/4 inches square. thanks for looking!
