You might remember I made these last year for my daughters birthday treats in kindergarten. Or not. LOL Anyway, Katie is turning 13 this week and they do birthday parties at lunch. When it is your birthday you bring some kind of treat for your friends. She asked for the CD wrapper cookies. I wrapped the store bought giant cookies in saran wrap and also put a napkin inside and taped it closed. On the front, I printed "From Katie" off of the computer in SU colors to match the paper. http://impressionsbyrochelle.blogspot.com/

I have copied this idea for my children's school. We can't send in home made food either so I put store bought cookies in decorated cd envelopes like you did. It is my way of sending in something home made and it is ok with the schools. Everyone thinks they are so cute. Thanks for the idea!!!
Thanks for sharing these! Picked up 2 boxes of these cd wrappers this week to make for my kids to use as their Valentines. They are excited to get started and glad I'm not making anything completely girly!

My younger daughter turns 13 tomorrow and we CAN bring in homemade treats. I love your idea here and am so excited to get started tonight so I can surprise her at lunch tomorrow. She loves surprises and yes, she enjoys when her mom pops in at school~LOL
