While I was in Ohio last week visiting my dad and helping him clean out some trouble spots, we decided to go through some old family stuff. We found a stash of cards and letters from the first half of 1900's. Among them was a Christmas card from the 40's with the same color scheme and layout as this card. Knew right then I wanted to make a card like it but didn't know what stamp set to use until today. I'm rather pleased with the results...hope you like it also!

Oh you did a great job combining all the different stamp sets. you really made a wonderful card ! I was just in Ashtabua last week and it was warm no snow in sight. I love it there.

Oh now this is classy. Love the way you have the deer antler's cut to overlap the oval and the composition is great. Isn't it lovely to find inspiration in unexpected places?!
