This card is part of a set I made for my b/f. The other items include a stamped candle, and a coaster set and box. The netting attached to the card is actually an orange onion bag. I initially tried to sponge craft white onto it to change the color but that didn't work. I got out my acrylic paints and started painting it white. It turned out great until I tried twisting it around on the card, and you could see spots of the orange. In my set of acrylic paints was a beautiful light sea green, which I added to the missed spots of white. This turned out even better. The torn Sahara Sand paper actually resembles a beach front, and I crimped the vellum, which resembles the ocean's waves. The sand dollar is using the faux metal technique, with versamark and white embossing powder, and is framed in a shadow box.
