For today's Ways To Use It Challenge, WT84 - Stencils. One of my oldest and dearest friends lost his dad this week to illness, and this card is actually for Gary and his family. I needed it to be a little masculine but also a little feminine, so I settled just a knotted ribbon and brads. The background for the flower was sea sponged with Mellow Moss inside a rectangle stencil. Once I had the flower image stamped, I layed the stencil back over the image and spritzed with Mellow Moss. Of course, as my luck would have it, once I had it done, layered and ready to apply to the card, I decided it needed a sentiment and of course, stamped that crooked. Oh well, can't win them all. The plum layer is stamped with flannel plaid and then overstamped with Well-Worn Words. Thanks for looking!

beautiful...I didn't even notice the 'crooked' till you pointed it out!
I trust this card and your friendship will help Gary through this difficult time

there is a very fine line between"hobby" and "mental illness"
What a beautiful sympathy card--I have to do 2 and this layout will be my inspiration. Love the brad placement and the way you did the main panel--just outstanding!
------------------------------ Judy, aka greenstalker I wish someone would call me "ma'am" just once without adding "you are making a scene"!
