I made this card for our monthly card exchange for the Teapotters. The theme is "wind" for March. It's also for N for Nebraska, round 20 Alphabet Challenge.
I haven't used my Art Impression stamps for a long time, so I decided to pull them out for this card. I'm not real happy with the result. I haven't done this technique for quite awhile: coloring on the stamps with Tom Bow markers, then, stamping on card stock, and then, using a small watercolor brush to spread the ink on the white card stock.
I got carried away with more and more color and adding more and more tiny stamps to the card stock...a barn, a house, flowers, grass, clouds, birds, cows, fences, and "the windmill" which was the image that I started with. I have to remember that "less is more."

Gracie - this is a wonderfully put together scene and took me straight back to where I grew up in Nebraska. The windmill is central to maintaining life on the farm and all the tiny details, like wildflowers in the grass, just add to the charm! BTW - altho you think it's already "too much" - if this comes to me could you add one more detail?? The galvanized cow tank by the windmill that not only watered all the livestock but was our "swimming pool" in the heat of summer - lol

I love this farm scene and all the details. I can tell a lot of work went into making this and you should be pleased with the results. Sometimes we have a picture in mind of what this needs to look like and our efforts do not turn out as we hoped. The card is still beautiful but we can't see what others can. What I see is beautiful.

Wow! I can't believe you got this entire little farm onto an A2 card. I think you did a great job, it looks wonderful to me. Loving the texture in all that green grass. And the cloudy sky is beautiful.
Thank you for a fun and inspiring challenge.
