Kia is hosting this week's Watercolor Wednesday challenge and she chose a tutorial with tulips which I love.
Yellow tulips are my favorite but I decided to go red for more show on my card. And, I meant to make my tulip on the left taller but kind of got off track and forgot.
The tutorial is How to Paint Three Tulips and is by artist, Joanne Boon Thomas. She is teaching us about loose watercoloring.

This is so pretty. You got that nice trail of watery paint out of the top of the tulip. And you got such a vibrant red for those blossoms. I also love the leaves and all that washy goodness.

Beautifully done! Love these tulips. The vibrant colors in the flowers and greens are outstanding. The shading and spattering complete this gem...

So gorgeous. I love this little notecard with those beautiful red tulips and the bg is as beautiful as the blooms. I love even more that I can see everyday now. Thank you for that gift. Hugs.
