This is my card for CC970. Barbara is our hostess and she chose real red, pool party, lemon lolly and old olive for her color combo. Dessert option this week is "new home". Well, I get part of the dessert. I made a Christmas card with a gingerbread cottage.
The background paper is from the Stampin' Up " storybook gnomes" collection. I used a piece of vellum to tone down the paper.
The gingerbread cottage is a new die from CottageCutz. I used a couple of neutrals and the challenge colors to cut the cottage.
Stamped my sentiment and added a few peppermint swirls to complete my card.
Hope you can play along this week. Barbara has chosen some beautiful colors for your card designs.

Good enough to eat!! Adorable gingerbread house in the snowy scene, Mary. I admire your patience....and precision....in gluing all those tiny pieces. A wonderful Christmas card.

This is one gorgeous and delightful card, Mary. Love your idea to use vellum which gives this a dreamy look. Love the hills with your peppermint additions!
