WT969 = Stickles, Nuvo Drops, etc. - I used Liquid Pearls
MIX558 = Superstitions. I don't send any Halloween cards so did a Christmas superstition. There are lots of superstitions around mistletoe - in order to have good luck, happiness and a long married life, you must kiss your love under the mistletoe; if a girl refused a kiss whilst standing under mistletoe during Victorian times, it was said that she wouldn't receive any marriage proposals the following year; it should remain hanging through the year, often to preserve the house from lightning or fire, until it was replaced the following Christmas Eve.
I had great fun playing with a lot of mixed media products (quite out of my comfort zone) to create some backgrounds using Jennifer McGuire's recent video "Background Magic".
On a large piece of heavy cs, I brayered different shades of blue ink and sprayed with some mica spray, stamped with a snowflakes background stamp in darker blue, stamped a few bits of tiny stars in gold, and stenciled some larger stars and snowflakes with grit paste. Then trimmed the panel into a few different pieces and used one of the pieces for this background.
I added a Lavinia word sticker (Mistletoe) and a mistletoe die cut (cut twice and glued together for more dimension. Then used my Liquid Pearls on the berries of the mistletoe.

Susan, this is totally fabulous! The background is super cool with the speckled pattern and camouflaged sentiment. The die cut is gorgeous and I love your sentiments.
How fun you went in this direction and highlighted a Christmas superstition. Fun and VERY pretty. Love it! Hugz
