I inked an oval gel plate with a couple of pale blues and pressed it directly onto the card base. Inked the stencil, pressed it onto the gel plate and then pressed the gel plate on the card base again, and finally darkened all the edges with a deeper blue and pressed again. Added the foliage cut from an AI or Brushos on photo paper piece, the heart stems and a single golden butterfly.

Gel plate printing is something I never got into but it certainly made a wonderful bg for your die cut flowers. I like the whole blue/green vibe you have going on in that oval spotlight.

neat technique with gel plate--have heard of but not own gel plate so have never tried---yours came out so pretty done in the blues and oval shape is great with flower image

I am in disbelief, lol, as I thought I had commented on this already. Maybe I just dreamt that, lol. Love the rich looking blues on this. Love the leaves and the addition of those heart stem dies. Just gorgeous!
