Diane is hosting this week's Christmas in July Color Challenge with Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake. I thought a woodsy, Christmas Tree theme would work with these colors.
I stamped the trees from Grassy Grove in both of the greens and worked in Crumb Cake on my card base and the wood trim/rails on the truck bed. I also used it to stamp my tracks. Since this is a photopolymer set I was able to curve the ground stamp to somewhat match the curve of my hand cut snow in the foreground. It didn't make sense that a driverless car would be left on a hill in the woods so I used some markers to scribble what would hopefully be taken as a driver.
Christmas in July is our dessert this month so it is optional. I'm looking forward to seeing what others do with these colors and hope you will be playing along too!

What a fun Christmas card bringing back fond memories when growing up! I Love the forest of trees and the snowy lane that the truck driver is trying to get home on, but I'm sure he has 4-wheel drive and/or snow tires, right!
