I cut a round mask with some frog tape then watercolored my "heat soaked" background in shades of yellow, orange, red & brown. Once dry, I removed the mask and added a few heat waves across my white hot sun, too, and adhere my african wildlife die cut. Stamped my Lion on scrap stock, colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and fussy cut. Three feet were glued directly to the bg, the other foot and the rest of the body was raised up with mounting foam. I finished with a Unity sentiment stamped & fussy cut.

Yay that the eye surgery has made a difference, hopefully that helps in creating as well as viewing. Those warm colours are a treat to see, it's still very grey here.
