Color Challenge hosted by Barbara. Her colors are: Soft Succulent, Soft Suede and Mango Melody. The dessert option is DSP.
For my card, I used the Faux Pressed Flowers technique from the tutorials. I inked a branch stamp with markers in the Succulent and Suede colors. Then I glued down prima flowers matching the Mango Melody color. I used a glue stick and was careful to cover the entire back so the flower would be completed glued down. Then I carefully placed the flower and pressed it down. For the CC dessert, I cut strips of DSP and glued them to the bottom of my panel. Then I dry embossed the panel. With this technique, it is important to use an embossing folder with a tight pattern and no open areas. If you have prima flowers to use up, this is a technique to consider.
See the tutorial here: Faux Pressed Flowers Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I matted the embossed panel with the suede, attached a mango DSP strip on a succulent card base. I really wanted to use this gorgeous ribbon so I embellished with a knot. Finished off with pearls for the flower centers. I am so looking forward to the beautiful cards using these fabulous colors! TFL

I love this look on a card. Stamping and coloring it; then emboss it??? Is that what you did? It is very pretty!
