The die used to cut the maple leaf frame has been in my collection forever. It has been sitting on my desk for the past few weeks as I wanted to make a Birthday Card for a special friend of mine who lives in Canada.
The Dove Art stamp is also new and has never seen ink before.
Stamped and embossed the image. Coloured with water colour pencils and highlighted with gel glitter pens. Sponged gold around the edges of the card.
Die cut the maple frame twice - once from the light brown card and then again from red card. Trimmed the image to fit the frame and mounted it on the die cut. I then pieced the little red maple leaves into the die and framed in Kraft card, red and green.
After wanting to use this die for ages and not really knowing what to do - this card really came together very easily and was quick and simple.
For the CAS challenge - Clean your desk. Use the maple leaf die.
For the Mix Challenge - Something New - I used the "new" never used before die and also the new stamp.
Hope you enjoy.

The diver is a beautiful stamp. We get them over in the west. And the maple frame is fab. When I first started cooking, we had - they were not like modern cupcake/muffin trays because they were more rounded, but they had vibe from Canada when my mother lived there, and they had a maple leaf shape embossed in the bottom of each one. I hadn't thought of then for years till I saw your frame.
