This is the tin I made for Perrin's Kindergarten teacher as part of her end of the year present. The kids were really cute and thought that the "K" stood for Kindergarten instead of their teacher's first name.
I used some of the directions from the tutorial found here. I was glad to see how to do it with Modge Podge, and actually really liked the results!
I used a circle punch to cut the notch out for the latch. And I ran the ric rac thru my Xyron to make it sticky.
The "K" is from a really cool alphabet set by Heidi Swapp. It's from her Ghost Alphabet line, which means they are clear letters. This font is called "Lemonade Stand". I actually had a very difficult time with the actual letter, it was hard to get it to stick. I ended up tracing it on to Old Olive cardstock then used my Crystal Effects over it.

OMG! This tin absolutely rocks! So glad I'm seeing it on my good monitor at home finally (the one at work did not do this justice...I couldn't even see the buttons). Time to request a new monitor from IT.

I don't know how I missed this one when you loaded it. I must have been gone that week! Love this Emily and I love the touches you added like the buttons and scallop punch.
