Today, I realized my sponges are cooler tools than I ever realized (check out TLC916). I did a lazy panel - tried for the plaid background but my sponge was running out of ink and I didn't feel like reinking so you can't see it that well. I still love the result. Thanks for sharing Dee's techniques along with the Frugal Crafter's, Jean. I feel smarter.
CAS707- back to school (thanks, Misti). I don't have a ton of back to school images so I went with a encouragement card with rulers and a positive crayon/life sentiment. I will probably use this to provide a mid year donation to one of the grandsons' teachers for classroom needs.

I didn't know Dee had passed away. I have met her with her husband a couple of times in years past, enjoying watching as well as chatting. We know she did what she loved for sure.
