I stamped and embossed this image with Brilliance Graphite Black Ink and clear embossing powder. I used Misti to get a really good image.
I coloured the imae with water colour pencils and added highlights with glitter pens and gold and copper pens. The seahorse was then fussy cut.
For the background I used an acrylic block and distress inks to smooch around on white card till I was happy with the colour combination. The background was then embossed with a Stamping Up embossing folder.

Wow! This seahorse is awesome! I live how you coloured it. I love that bg too. I have that ef and have used it many, many times, but never with that technique. Something new to try.

The contrast of the bright, bold sea horse against the soft bg is lovely. That ef is perfect to add texture without taking interest away from the pretty sea horse. Beautiful card.
