I am excited to be on the team for the new Watercolor Wednesday challenge and this is our first challenge. Sure hope you will join us. Check out the forum challenge for what we are doing today. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I used only two colors for my background, green and blue. I ink smooshed the background and watercolored the coneflower. As you can see, I used a die cut for the flower instead of stamping the flower on my card.
It's a fun technique and hope you will try it. I used a piece of acetate to lay down my ink, spritzed, then placed on my w/c paper. Kia left a video in the forum challenges to show how it is done. Very easy!

So beautiful. I love the soft mellow background of the green and blue. It smooshed into a perfect pattern too! A stunning background for that gorgeous flower.

There is a lovely combination of colours in the background. Just so pretty. I love that flower stamp - all sold out here at the moment but I will keep it in mind when the mail starts up again on a more reliable note from the US.
