You know how it is to have a famous relative or ancestor? Well Peter R. da Vinci, the great-great-great-great-great grandson of Leonardo has tried to follow in his ancestors paint strokes for years but without a lot of success. He finally decided to have a go at Leonardo's iconic painting, the Mona Lisa. He was able to convince Mona Lisa celebrity impersonator, Midge Lackluster, to pose for him. As you can see Midge is getting on Peter's nerves...she keeps moving, talking, and heaven forbid smiling
The idea for this first of all was to use the painting bunny and then I had to think of something for him to paint. I actually have several Mona Lisa stamps (can you believe it? Of course I do)..none of them were going to work...too big. I then remember some stickers my sister got me at The Louvre and one happened to be Mona. Well it was the top half of her...luckily she fit perfectly on the Rubbermoon stamp of a lady sitting in a chair eating chocolates. You can kind of see the box of chocolates just under the lamp...oh and I had a small ink smudge just under the lamp so I drew in a chain. Thanks for looking!

This really gave me a good laugh. What a wonderful imagination you have putting all this together. Such fun. I love Mona’s little cat - of course she would have had a little cat.

Luv! I had to read your story twice, just to take in all the delicious details! Genius collage. The bunny relative of our beloved da Vinci is new to me, but wicked fun. And all those fav rubber stamp companies used with such skill. The pull chain cover is a great save. Now pass that box of chocolates, Mona!
A treasure, mf.
