ABC12Y15: Our letter this week is Y. My Y is yellow.
CT1219: The theme this month is stars. My background and foreground are filled with stars.
I used this week's sketch challenge to create this card. The card base was created using the Emerging Color tutorial here on SCS. The front starry panel was created using emboss resist.
I stamped smaller stars all over the background in various colors, then stamped the large stars with Versamark and clear heat embossed them. I then brayered Island Indigo ink over the background. For the small panel, I stamped the large star with Versamark, and clear heat embossed. I then sponged Island Indigo around the outer edges and Daffodil Delight on the star itself. When done, I stamped a smaller star around using Island Indigo. I popped the sentiment up with dimensionals.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Fabulous background technique...wonderful colors. Love clear embossing elements that take on a color hue from your brayering. I have to go take a peek at this Emergin Color Embossing technique... truly looks interesting with an elegant result!
