Barbara is our hostess this week and she has chosen Blackberry Bliss, So Saffron, and Bermuda Bay with ribbon for dessert. This card got a little bit away from me. It was a little iffy there for a bit, but I managed to rein it back in. I took the colors and found this Bugaboo image that I hadn't used yet and decided to use SC97. I found some DP that matched pretty well and then made my own plaid for one of the panels. Embossed some clouds on the back panel and decided that some stitched, fluffy white clouds would finish it off perfectly. I've so enjoyed being a guest on the CC team this month. Thanks for having me ladies! And I wish everyone good health and lots of love and happiness in the New Year!
So last year, I started an Excel file that tracked every card I made and where it ended up along with how much I spent on cardmaking and how many prizes I won along the way. Today I start my new 2019 tracking file. But I thought I'd share my stats with you. I made 667 cards last year and I only have 21 left in my inventory. I spent about $1200 in 2018 (eek!) for a cost of $1.77 per card (not bad). And I won about $400 in prizes from various challenges. It was a great year! I can't wait to see my stats for 2019--I bet I can beat that 667 number!

Congrats on your new SCS position! Thrilled for all of us. I used to do this tallying thing with how much I spent on groceries, how much I saved with all my organized coupons, how many rebates I got, how much postage I spent, etc. It was so rewarding and something to be very proud of when I looked at the bottom line. It was worth every bit of research/organizing time 'cause I was having fun playing my own game. Same goes for you here, Deario. What a winner you are! Happy 2019! Lori

A terrific birthday card Jen, with all the layers, patterns and totally adorable birthday bear! It's been a delight to have you join the CCDT this month, your creations are always one of my favs!
Impressed by your stats, may your wins continue to rise in 2019!

Jen, I LOVE this!!
The plaid is such a playful touch with that cute bear.
I have been keeping an excel sheet for several years, tracking cards made/mailed, challenges completed. 2018 was a slow year for me. But my goals are to be more productive in 2019. (I have never tracked my expenses on these excel forms...scary! LOL)
