The paper button on the crochet flower was made from many layers of paper bag, with the top layer stamped on a recycled envelope, all punched with a 7/8" scallop circle punch.
The teapot with the slingshot chosen this week is perfect, since our dad was an expert shot with one. Many of our cookie cutters were cut from tin cans and bent into different shapes by our dad, as well.

Wonderful vintage style card! The crochet flower caught my eye and love the center made from paper bag. The vintage music sheet with curled edges really makes your card sing!! A beautiful designed card for your sister!

Melody, you absolutely amaze me with all the things you put into one card- with beautiful results! I love the lace-stamped bg, then how you stamped these wonderful cone flowers onto the music paper. The button in the middle of the crochet flower is so unique and I love the story about your dad that goes with hit. This butterfly is just wonderful and these fancy corners draw your eye right to this wonderful image. Carol will adore this card you made for her! ~Karen.

Oh my goodness this is total recycle beauty and just the right colors for Carol too. Nicely done using the paper bag and the recycled envelope and coming up with this incredible card.

Great old vintage look-of-lace background on ink distressed kraft is such a great beginning for this LOVELY vintage card! Your torn and distressed music sheet layering with its stamped and colored cone flower is a fabulous backdrop for the sweet butterfly and gorgeous crocheted flower.
