I bought this beautiful elephant stamp from Unity a while ago, but have been rather intimidated to stamp and color it. When I was perusing today's inspiration site I came across this graphic tee: https://www.lifeisgood.com/women/gra...tee-56004.html. Since the elephant on the tee was only two colors, I figured that was as good a way to start off as any, so that's what I did. At first I tried colored pencil on black cardstock, but it was waaay too difficult to see the details stamped black-on-black, so I stamped on some super cheap, thin watercolor paper (because it has "tooth", and none of my other papers do) and that worked just fine. I used a black marker to fill in the background.

Such a cool elephant. Love your colors. Living in the middle of Bama country, the minute I saw this, I imagined it colored red and gray with Roll Tide across it. Sorry, I digress. This is fabulous.

Wow! Now this must have taken you a long time to color!! Look at all the details - beautifully done! I love those colors against the black too!
